LEAP: Help For Low-Income Energy Consumers

LEAP: Help For Low-Income Energy Consumers

Postby CLS » Mon Nov 05, 2012 7:20 pm

The LEAP program provides emergency financial assistance to low-income customers experiencing difficulty paying utility bills that are in arrears. If you qualify, you may be eligible for a grant that will help to pay your overdue utility bill. This is an emergency-assistance program and is not intended to provide ongoing assistance with regular, monthly utility bills. This is a valuable resource for low-income persons and those who work with them. More information can be found on the Ontario Energy Board's website at: http://www.ontarioenergyboard.ca/OEB/Consumers/Consumer+Protection/Help+for+Low-Income+Energy+Consumers.
